Much like Rondo, much smaller than even Kirk, needed to make solid contact against a rather large Brad Miller on a long recovery to make sure Miller doesn't get an "and 1". At least Rondo was going for his arm and missed, but the point is neither was called a flagrant. I don't blame Bulls fans for wanting a flagrant, but the refs either have to call both or neither to be consistent, though being consistent isn't a consistent thing for them so who the **** knows.

Sure I'd want a flagrant if that happened to Rondo...

... but I also am smart enough to understand that they are never going to end a playoff game on a call like that. Two point game, 2 free throws... you still had the chance to tie it and blew it.

The refs arent going to wrap the game up with a bow and give you two free throws and the ball. I understand why you guys are upset and I would be too to an extent, but its not like it was a no call, the refs gave you a chance to catch up, it didnt happen.

Consider us even for the 'clear path' foul on Davis when he was clearly even at the time of the foul.

I wish I knew how to trasfer video pics to the computer. I'm pretty sure there was a play earlier in the game where Glen Davis got hit in the head on a fast break layup. Not any different from the rond play except Davis didn't run into someone elses elbow and start bleeding.

So let me get this straight...

Basically what anyone who isn't a C's fan wanted to happen last night was for the refs to hand Chicago a game in which they blew a double digit 4th quarter lead by calling a flagrant 2 foul on the defending champs' best player in the series, on their home court, in the last five seconds of a playoff game? Really? Come **** on, it's the NBA...

We are being real...HE DIDN'T HIT him..he TOUCHED him...and the bleeding was because he fell like a whore and hit PP's shoulder on the way down. Stop using the blood arguement because Rondo didn't cause the blood and you know that..

Thought I'd chime in here.
1. I think it should have been a flagrant when the league reviewed it.
2. This is not the reason the Bulls lost. blowing a 4th quater lead was.
3. The refs have now lost control of the series. I'll be shocked if someone doesn't get hit hard next game. The refs calling flagrant on a possible retaliation will make the league scream of hypocrisy. At the very least, Rondo needed some BS fine to show something was wrong.
4. a suspension would be extremely stupid. like I said, some ridiculously small fine would have kept this series in check and shown blows to the face weren't alright.
5. It's really hard to tell if it was the elbow or Rondo that caused the bleeding/stitches. One camers angle shows Brad Miller getting raked by Rondo, and another shows him getting hit by the elbow. Who knows?

I hope this series doesn't turn into a boxing match. It has been so fun to watch so far and I hope we get to game 7 with 2 more OT's to finish off an amazing series no matter who wins.

I don't usually react like this, and I used to like Brad Miller but after watching this series I really just **** hate him. The laughing after the moving pick on Ray that somehow got Ray fouled out of the game topped it off. Brad sets dirty picks all over the place, not just moving but thrusting his elbows into people, then whines every time anybody comes near him when he has the ball. He's a B-I-T-C-H bitch bitch beeaatch. My favorite is blowing the free throw and then whining about the foul, if he made those free throws he would have shrugged it off for what it was, he didn't get hit that hard.

Brad Miller is Bill Laimbeer without the basketball ability, flopping ability, effort, or disagreeable looks.

He shoots very well from the outside for a center, doesn't have a notable inside scoring game, is a smart player, is beefy, and is obnoxious. Those are the similarities. Black guys aren't ruled out of this comparison on grounds of race; I just happen not to be thinking of any examples. (I can't think of a beefy black center who shot that well from 3-pt range period, Sam Perkins perhaps excepted; Rasheed Wallace doesn't count as "beefy".)

How many people heard Tommy during this?
Tommy at first: He airballed it!
Later on the replay...He didn't touch him, nobody touched him!
Mike: No, looks like Rondo got him pretty good...
Tommy: Oh...
After Miller misses the first FT..Tommy and Mike celebrate... Miller spits out some blood.
Tommy[sarcastically]: Miller's acting like he got hurt!

That sure as hell wasn't Rondo who made him bleed. He didn't TOUCH him hard enough to break a tooth. Unless Miller is one big soft pussy...to be real with you, if that's Dwight Howard or LeBron James, they would have ate the slap and slammed that down..so Miller really is friggin soft..but for real..what happened was he fell on Pierce's shoulder, and got blood there...but they twisted it all up to to make it look like Rondo did it..all crap...
Celtics will not hit anybody harder because of that play. If this turns to a boxing match it's on Chicago...people are making this story bigger than it is supposed to be...

Bulls fans, stop acting like that bitch-ass red-faced center of yours. It's unbecoming.

Miller bleeds from all parts of his body from top to bottom.
Its just depends on which part of the month you catch him bleeding or which team he's playing against.

Are you really that dense? I don't care why he started bleeding or what not. you are totally missing what I'm trying to say.. My point has nothing to do with how it affected the Bulls chances of winning at all. It has to do with the fact that the refs let someone that was beaten on a play take a swing at someones face. I don't care if it was his hand or pierces elbow that caused the bleeding; Rondo took a swing at his face to make him miss the shot (not trying to actually hurt him but trying to make him earn it on the line)
Not only this game, but in so many other games the officiating changes in the last 2 minutes. The stupid ticky tack fouls they get on players, which shouldn't have been called so they are mistake, are made up for later in the game with more bad calls. gimme a break!! stop calling stupid fouls on ray allen, start calling flagrants, catch ben gordon going out of bounds, and im sure there are 100 other fouls that need to be called correctly.

You are 100% CORRECT, Rondo didn't slap anybody.

He did, however, hit Miller with a CLOSED FIST.

Don't belive me-

I don't blame the refs for this loss, the Bulls flat-out blew an 11-point lead in the 4th.

I don't blame the refs for the fact that the Celtics are playing physical, playoff basketball- I blame the Bulls for not fighting back.

I do feel sorry for Rajon in Game 6 if even one Bull has any balls, however.

If he had pulled miller around or down to the ground by his neck they would have called it a flagrant. As it stood, he reached in, got miller's had and jaw and pretty much just straight-armed him in the face. That's not a flagrant and the league's review bore that out.

I bet the tooth was fine, he probably just busted the inside of his lip. But man did he whine about it. In the postgame interview he looked like he just wanted to burst into tears lol.

Agreed 100%. Everyone I talked to at work today figures that maybe Tyrus is the only guy we have who will take an extra-hard playoff foul.

Outside of Miller, but if he decks Rondo it will be too obvious.
