House's shooting was only about half the reason he wins the cigar. We always seemed to be involved when we were coming up with key steals and at the end of the game he seemed to be the on coming up with small but big plays, like a rebound or key assist, that helped us seal the deal.
Scal was as serviceable as we could have hoped for, but we were lucky not to lose the game with Doc sticking with him versus Salmons and leaving him on the floor for 25 minutes at the expense of other options including Perk/Scal, Ray, even Tony (who could have turned Salmons into a TO machine while effectively playing Scal's stand around and do nothing much on offense role). We were -6 with Scal in the game and +16 with him on the bench.
When we experienced foul trouble early in each half, I would have liked to see Mikki get some time with the starters as opposed to Scal. When Mikki is in the game alongside players that can a.) create offense and b.) defend well enough to make up for his weakness there and c.) isn't matched up with an opposing PF that can eat him alive, he can actually be a very serviceable offensive role player whose efficiency is subtle and escapes notice - this was on display towards the end of the first half.
