You guys just need a center or power forward that you can focus your team around. Amare or Bosh would seem the be the perfect fits. Maybe even Shaq as a short term solution?

I think people here are judging Bens defense on the last 3-4 games of the series. Ben isnt usually that bad, he was obviously injured

As far as Ben being posted up, I can think of a few times it happened this season out of 89 games, one of them was Delonte West & I believe Kobe did the other 2, & Kobe does that to everyone. Delonte did it successfully a few times.

Ben just wants to be most paid player on the team, which I do thing is deserving atm, unfortunately signing Deng has f'd that up. He turned down 50-54 million for the record, & did try to accept just before the deadline but the Bulls imposed deadline had passed & they refused to put the offer back on the table

I don't expect you guys to know that or have seen it, just letting you know some things to consider
Bring back Nocioni!!!

In my opinion, I wouldn't trade Hinrich. I remember reading before he was injured, the idea was to start him with Rose as the off guard. The playoffs helped Hinrich revive his career. It seem like his future in Chicago was in doubt. He's a good player. Not to mention, he's already under contract longterm while Gordon will enter free agency. I see Gordon as a me-first player and seems more interested in starting and having a high salary. Sure, he helps Chicago win games, is semi-clutch and a reliable scorer. However, a scorer can easily be replaced on a team. Chicago might be better served using that possible salary toward addressing other team needs such as signing a back-up point guard if you're going to have Hinrich as the primary shooting guard. Hunter's a rental player at best. So, adding more depth in the back court is a must for the Bulls this off-season. Also, most will probably disagree, I would look to trade Miller. He'll be in the last year of his contract and shouldn't have the highest salary on the team being a reserve player. I think that his playoff series against Boston might have boosted his trade value somewhat. I'm uncertain which UFA players Chicago would've an interest in. But, the team could've some money to spend toward a few free agents with the money they could save in not resigning Gordon and trading Miller. In addition, Chicago might want to decide now whether or not Thomas is a longterm answer at power forward. He doesn't play that tough nor is he a good enough (or consistent) rebounder and post defender to merit being a regular starter. He seems to rely on athleticism more than anything he possesses in skills.

Salmons was a nice bargain, he'll make an ideal sixth man with Deng returning next season. On the other hand, I believe you lost some toughness and grit with Nocioni being traded. Still, with Rose, Hinrich, Deng, Noah and whomever you decide will be the mainstay at power forward. The Bulls should be a formidable opponent for any team next season.

Also, Maybe it was just me but he just seems like a really selfish player. You can ignore when he is hot, but its pretty hard to ignore it when he is not.

Ben is a good scorer - and can create his own shot. He is undervalued in that regard. But I'd trade him in a package with Noah for a legit big man who can score.. The Bulls are in the same situation that they were before Rose. They have a bunch of good but not great players. You have to turn that into a FEW great players. Quality > Quantity..
