Let's not get into the reasons why the celtics... uhh... "won" anything in the past two years when the year before that they were arguably one of the worst teams in basketball...

Good for you? i guess?

Those are some pretty fair predictions given ESPN's history and KG's absence.

This series is really hard to predict.

The Magic have no real home court advantage, while we do. On the other hand the Magic are pretty good on the road while we weren't (in 2008).

We are very thin up front, where the Magic may be best in the league. On the other hand our last series was dominated by guard play.

We should be very tired and our best players are above 30. On the other hand I believe Pierce when he says he can rest as much as he needs between the games.

Screw it. Celtics in 4 ;)

If Rondo and Ray have the same kind of game that thay play through the bulls series, then they have a very good chance against the magic...

I'm going to say Celtics in 6...the Magic are not mentally tough and I think they are still pretenders...prove me wrong!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

I hope there isn't much trolling in this series. I think most games will be competitive, but Boston's frontcourt is too banged up. Magic in 7. I hope I'm wrong.

They went through many injuries. They were actually around .500 when healthy so that could explain it.

The reason we lost respect last year is because Atlanta took us to 7 games and this year it's because Chicago took us to 7. The Hawks were ranked 8th last year and the Bulls were ranked 7th this year.

Both teams are very similar and due to their style of play just cause us problems. Last year we got stronger as the playoffs continued. Even with KG out, I expect the same this year.

We will beat Orlando in 6 or 7 games.

What people don't mention about Atlanta and Chicago is that both teams made Trade Deadline moves that made them into much better teams. Looking at the post trade records, it was obvious that both teams were better than they looked. Atlanta went from 8th to 4th, and Chicago could make a similar jump next year.

the only "expert" i even bother considering is hollinger, and while his opinion doesn't mean MUCH, it usually is backed up by pretty significant stats like win-loss margin.
