OT: Star Trek

This movie is insanely good compared to what I expected going in.
I've never been much of a fan so it's not like I had a bias beforehand, though there were quite a few vocal fans there, lol. Good cast, some cool nostalgic stuff that even I could notice, and a hell of a job by Abrams(again). In other words, go see it, you won't be disappointed.

I don't know the first thing about Star Trek and couldn't name the characters on the shows/movies aside from Kirk, Picard, Worf, Data, and Spock. I've never watched the movies or the shows (from start to finish in one sitting) before, but I've got to admit I'm considering checking this one out.

I'm the same way, the 2hrs last night were the most Trek I've watched in my life.
