Mark my words, he is about to start doing some ish. His first step is back, next comes the athleticism, the pattern is similar to last year, and we all know how good he looked during that stretch.

I pray that he can stay healthy. If he does, I think his potential could be that of a 3rd best player on an elite team...

Calder you might be right but TA is seriously lacking confidence right now. He looked like garbage last night but I'm not going to write him off yet. I think his first step is back and his athleticism is close but Tony needs to believe in himself. Until that happens expect to see more of the TA from last night.

We have our 2008 and 2010 draft picks to use toward building for the future. We don't need potential on the bench. We want to win a championship this year. How would having a Jeff Green or Randy Foye on our bench help us win the championship this season? They helped by NOT being on our bench.

I'm with Dorfon. The real Tony is sleeping if he wakes up it's game over. the player we saw last year was a absolute star, IMO. He was every where on Defense and did what he wanted offensively (which is throw one down every other 5 minutes). Last year was just like this, all he needed to do was get his mind right and get some minutes, but this time the minutes won't come easy. I just hope he keeps his head up, it's all about the state of mind with Tony.

I don't think Tony Allen has the intelligence to be a star in this league. In fact I know that he doesn't have the intelligence. He's a very dumb man. The good news is he can play basketball! I think once he gains his confidence back (like last year), he's going to be one hell of a slasher off the bench.

I LOVE TA!! But he's a dumb-dumb. Last season the guys used to play a game internally where they would pick words and make Tony Allen try to spell the word. Basically, they would make fun of how stupid he is.

Two steps forward (Lakers game) two steps back (Rockets game).

This does not surprise me, his erratic play. Even during the course of a game, he'll have his ups and downs. One moment he'll be WAY up there around the rim, the next time down he's barely elevating for a lay-up. The bad moments though, they'll fade with the continued improved health, and as a result the confidence should increase.

The dude is a pit-bull, and he's HUNGRY.

He probably doesn't have the smarts, but he produced. I think he was averaging around 20pts, and 7rebs for a few games.

On the bench, our only potential star, however unlikely, is Bill Walker IMO.
