Market for Marbury

We will see. I get the impression that no matter how he acted behind the sceans we would not hear about it until much later. If there were no problems and we can get him for cheap then we would be silly not to. The real question is how do we resign him? Does it take our LLE or part of the MLE or can we re up him on what he has now? I thought we paid him more than the vet min. Maybe what ever was left on our MLE, prorated? I get the idea that the intention of this was so that we could sign him this year for over the min with out touching our LLE or MLE, am I right on this? I have asked this a number of times and have got no answer.

I'd just as soon have seen the last of Starbury in C's green.

He didn't cause trouble, that was a plus, but he didn't really help us much either. And his comments about wanting to be a starter set of red flags. Not worth the potential headache given his skill level now. It's obvious he's not the Marbury of 3+ years ago. Frankly, I think we can do a lot better.

Marbury isn't worth denting the MLE for. Hence, he isn't worth paying more than about 1/5 what Rondo will get.

I don't think he'd have a problem w/ the cash per se, but he might not accept what that implies.
