Yes. the hate will always be there between our teams---but the respect always comes through AFTER the Games are played---I remember how choked up I was watching the Magic Johnson retirement ceremony---even though I hated watching him beat us a few times---I met him once, and told him how I was a Celtics fan and how much I appreciated him-while shaking his hand.....I also had the unique opportunity to sit next to Jerry West during a Summer League Game (Elden Campbell's rookie year)---He was a Great guy to talk to---he actually started the conversation after noticing I was rooting for the C's Summer league team (He said, "Oh no, a Celtic fan").

Anyway, Good Luck Tony Montana---I HOPE your team LOSES the Finals!!...and I'm sure you'd say the same to me if it was reversed--!!

WOW what an experience. Would've loved to have been there.
Also thanks for the love on the finals too, and believe me I understand and you are right.

I guess someone with the title LAtitletown already knew he was going to get into an argument posting on the Boston board.

Hell he counts what is it 14 titles for LA when only about 7 were won in LA? But I guess that's titletown.

Boston can't compete. Hell just look at the success in other sports too, gosh.

How can you hate on Lebron? He couldn't possibly have done more. That team is such trash.

MVP, The captain, the wintness, The King. Pick one.
A ture leader leads by example, everybody fails but it takes a real leader to regroup and learn from their mistakes and comeback even stronger and better, not by bailing out when you hit a bumpy road, and thats what Lebron did.

I understand that sometimes LeBron does act immature and it can get annoying. But you can't deny that he played his heart out and his team basically disappeared when he relied on them most, it must've been pretty hard for him to swallow. The only thing this changes is that unless Cleveland gets a big name player to team up with LeBron for next year, LeBron is going to leave. Also, the only thing I'm irritated by is that the Magic winning is putting into perspective how close we could've been to winning it all even if KG played at 50%.

Jordan, Bird, West, Russell, Magic, Cousy, etc didn't have passion for the game? They didn't get emotional? Guys like that, true champs, ALWAYS showed class and humility when it was appropriate. The only guy LeBron compares to right now is Isiah...hope he digs that comparison because I know how I and tons of other people feel about Isiah...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

No, bailing out is what Kobe did last year in the finals. Lebron did all he could. That team is just garbage.

Really??
I thought Kobe played a good series but it was players like Vlad, Sasha L.O and a few other key players that didnt do there job. Its easy to blame one individual specially when you dislike them so bad, and me personally have posted this a few times.
The better team won last year. It wasnt because of so and so balied out or we were missing so and so. I think that has been beaten to death by now, you guys had all the right pieces and you guys had a better defensive team and thats the end of it.

Now as far as the aftermath of the finals is where I give Kobe credit and thats what made Kobe different than what Lebron pulled on everybody, the Magic, his teammates the Media etc.
Kobe was the last player to leave the court and he did give all of the Cs props on their win and then he addressed the media where he took the loss and basically blamed himself for it. And he did address all the things needed to be done to make this team a better team. I didnt see Lebron doing that.

Kobe did give up last year. I think you forget that at some point Kobe decided that the Lakers lost and stopped shooting to prove something. Yeah, he faced the media, but what he did on the court was bailing out and blaming his teammates.

remember when KG was out and the cavs were at home, they were dancing on the court and posing. mocking the celtics openly like little kids on the bench when up by big numbers.

The celtics would NEVER do that. We celebrate, get excited for good bench play at the end, but never ever dance and pose at center court and act like they did.

even worse that we beat them in boston with no kg too.

Karma is karma, and i was hoping to see the magic dancing on center court and posing, but in the end the magic team actually has class.

nothing, i mean nothing made me happier then watching the cavs lose in 6 to the magic.
