LAC/MINN

Post#1 » by Kefa461 » Mon Jun 22, 2009 11:28 am

According to an NBA source, super active Minnesota Timberwolves GM David Kahn has offered Mike Miller to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Chris Kaman. The Clippers shot down that trade, but countered with Marcus Camby. DraftExpress.com

Not a bad trade for the Wolves if they can get Evans or Harden in the draft. They could probably flip Camby for some good pieces as well, since he'd be highly coveted as a contract and player.

Do the Wolves have to unload Love to make room for Camby if that went down? I also like the trade for the Wolves, but does LA need Miller with there current roster? Why do they make this trade?

LA has no wing depth and Miller provides that

After looking at LA roster you might be right. I thought they had another player along with Gordon, Thorton, and Davis.

Good trade for both sides!

Camby is a pretty lousy fit for the Wolves because of his age but he is exactly the kind of guy they need skill wise.

Kaman doesn't make a lick of sense unless they plan on moving Big Al or Love or both. But I guess they could just shoot to be the modern day Sacramento Kings, but in that case they should probably keep Miller.
