Effort. Z had a defensive rating of 101 +7.7 per 100 possessions and an opponent PER 15.

Shaq was a DR 109 (lower is better Wallace was 98) +1 per 100, and an opp PER of 18.7

The bigger issue is Shaq replaces both of them, because you can't play Z and Shaq together.

Obviously maybe Hickson is that good or there is another move to come that is going to clear this all up but right now it is a problem, they have two really big, really slow guys in a league that has very few of them anymore.

You have to factor in the systems they play. Come on now, Cleveland preaches defense. Phoenix avoids it as much as they can.

Terry Porter didn't want to avoid defense, Amare's numbers aren't that bad he is supposed to be an indifferent defender, and why is PHX that much better defensively with Amundson and Lopez in the middle instead. I am not alone in the woods on this one.

Apparently LeBron has told CLE if they do this he will sign a 3 extension. So this is LeBron the GM and a great move by CLE if true.

I do not believe the "rival exec (Donnie Walsh)" in the wire tap.
