Suns trade Ben Wallace
What if we trade Ray Allen to Phoenix
Wallace goes to N/O
Chandler and Posey comes to Boston
Our back up 3 /4 and 4/5 is taken care of. We can then use our MLE on a 2 (which should be eaiser to find

PHX would have no depth at C. Tyson is injury plagued and would not play much behind Perk. Then Ray > anyone we can get with the MLE. Also still do not want Posey's terrible contract. No thanks.

I'm pretty sure if the Suns do this deal that shows there not just dumping salary but trying to get younger. Kerr wants to keep his job. If they just have a fire sale he would be gone.

Why should we trade Ray for guys New Orleans would like to dump?
That's the problem with "Ray as an expiring." He has more value to us as a player than he does as an expiring contract. And his values as an expiring doesn't add much to his value as a player like people imply - teams would want him either as a player, or as an expiring, not as both.
If we can't get a decent 3 in FA though, I love the idea of Scal/TA expirings for Posey.

How about NOOOOOOOOOOOO
I like Chandler, I like Posey but I don't like either of their contracts and we would have no good replacement for Ray. Name me one good potential replacement for Ray if we did this deal.....I'm still waiting.....
I do agree tho, we need to get more depth at the 3 and 5 spots, but I don't like this deal at all. I appreciate the idea, I just don't think this is what we're looking for.
