Well I did qualify it saying IF we move Tony/Scalabrine/Giddens (or Walker) for a PG. That being said I don't anticipate a roster of all little guys just because they seem to have more talent then the bigs.

I think its wrong to call AAA players "projects" though. A project is a guy who can't play at all - but who has great talent. Saer Sene is the kind of guy that embodies this.

These guys are just deep bench caliber players you can use to fill out your roster for depth purposes. Fazekas fills a Scalarbine role. If Sheed gets hurt we can give some of those minutes to Fazekas without the world collapsing. It's the same with Swift if we lose Perkins. And Sweetney can be used against the big loads of the world (situational use).. He is the only guy that MIGHT see minutes without a significant injury.

I wouldn't mind it as long as none of those guys are regular rotation guys. I never thought POB/Scalarbine/BBD should really be in the rotation either. Maybe BBD showed that in shape he could be in the rotation. But Sweetney could claim the exact same thing. BBD gives you more BBIQ and passing but Sweetney is better in the post.

The drop off from POB/Scalarbine/BBD to Swift/Fazekas/Sweetney shouldn't be large. And if we now have enough depth to push those guys out of the rotation we will be in better shape then last year.

It's more of a strategic decsion. Do you stack the bottom of your roster with higher upside guys who will likely never be used (Pruitt, Giddens) or do you stack it with "emergency" guys you hope you never use but guys who potentially give you an option besides the wavier wire..?

fazekas won't make the team. He's slow as dirt. Moore is a better player than fazekas and we all know how that worked out
"Now, there's a steal by Bird..!"
