Charlie Bell? Could easily be had for an expiring.
Toronto will gladly give you Banks.

If Danny wants a ball-handling PG, he should just sign Lue or Carter for the minimum. If he wants to bump Eddie House out of his 7th, 8th man role, he should target a combo guard who can give a better impersonation of a point guard and guard some shooting guards. The best targets I see are Keyon Dooling and Leandro Barbosa. Charlie Bell is no better at PG than House and a lesser shooter at SG, so I would pass on him.
Dooling's coming off of a great year shooting the 3 (42%), and though limited as a PG, can at least pass, shoot and drive. He's also versatile defensively with great speed and long arms. I think he'd be attainable in trade as well, as Jersey is immune to regular season concerns and already have two of their best prospects as combo guards (Harris and Lee). I think TA and Walker could get us Dooling.
Barbosa is more proven as a shooter and deadly taking the ball to the hoop. He's also passable defensively at the 1 and 2, and his mediocre passing skills and penetration ability make him a better PG than House. His contract isn't bad, but it's got multiple years. Given that Phoenix is waving the white flag on their season by trading Shaq for spare parts, probably letting Hill go and watching idly as the contenders stock up on available assets, you've got to believe that they're keen on clearing cap space. Barbosa for House and TA would save them a little over 1.2 mil in salary (2.5 once you count the luxury tax) as well as bumping their roster up to 12 and saving the costs of whatever minimum player they would have dragged in for that spot. Furthermore it would shave 7.1 mil off their cap for next year, putting them at 40 mil and carving enough space for a max slot.
When coupled with a Grant Hill signing (crossing fingers), either trade would give Boston the most complete and deadliest 8-man rotation in the league.
