Just watched the Press conference. Im a Magic Fan and a long time Carter fan (great how that worked out) N all I can say is u little pansy fags think ur old worn out Rasheed wheel chair wallace is gonna help ur 40 year old veterans out?

I actually was jelous of the Celtics not only for picking up SHeed, but this conference. Watching how passionate KG was for having Sheed was cool. I respect them both. KG and Rasheed are two of the most passionate ppl left in the game. They will work together well, n great pikcup.
IMO u shuld start him over Perkins.

N e way Im thinking its gonna be Celtics vs Magic in the ECF, and I cant wait. I wouldnt be heart broken if the Celtics one, but I sure as hell would be upset. Its gonna be a great matchup.

This might be more exciting than the Finals. IMO opinion I allen and pierce will have trouble with VC and Lewis, while we will have trouble with KG and ur crazy good depth.

Here's a brief summary of the press conference and post-conference interviews in case you're interested.

Rasheed
- Loves the TEAM identity of the Boston Celtics. Believes he's a good fit. Can't wait to play.
- Always wanted to play for the Celtics alongside the Big 3. Said there were blatant rumors about him going to Clevaland or SA.
- The first question he asked, "How cold does it get in Boston?"
- Doesn't care if he starts or comes off the bench. PT doesn't matter. Team first.
- On Perk: physical, doesn't back down, doesn't complain about his role, loves his hustle.
- On Garnett: they were friends ever since they came out of the '95 draft. KG is a fierce competitor. Was always excited playing against him. KG is a mirror of himself but thinks KG is a better rebounder but he's a better shooter.

Doc Rivers
- Had a great meeting with Rasheed. He didn't have to say much because he was with KG, Pierce and Allen.
- Needed size and shooting. Rasheed gives them both. Described Rasheed as a perfect fit in his system. Haven't considered whether Rasheed should start over Perkins or have him come over the bench.
- Signing Rasheed will enhances Rondo's game. The extra shooter gives the team a boost.
- On Grant Hill: still recruiting him. He has a good relationship with Grant Hill and the Celtics are still in the hunt. Thinks Grant is more likely to play in Phoenix than New York. Expects to hear from Grant soon.

I wonder if any of the big 3 will be there to welcome Sheed?? I hope so..it's going to be a funny press conference if all 4 guys were there.
