I agree. If the Celtics stay healthy (which is, of course, never a given) they should be a juggernaut. Heck, they've BEEN a juggernaut for the past 2 seasons when everyone was healthy. Think about something for a something...in the last two seasons, the Cs have won 128 regular season games (and likely would have won more if KG doesn't get injured). In the entire long, champion-filled history of the Celtics franchise only ONCE has the team won more games than that over any 2 years (130 games from 1984-86). And the team that did that is actively thought of as one of the greatest teams in NBA history.

If KG is healthy and (somehow) even more amped than before...with Rasheed Wallace now in the fold to form one of the best defensive big men rotations in league history...this season could be very, VERY fun.

How about a defensive unit of

Rondo/Pierce/Garnett/Sheed/Perk ?

lol at Sheed and at people who took this comparision seriously.
has anybody even watched pistons the last few years?
Sheed is a shell of his former self and he's been that way for a while now.

That is one area of the game I feel he's much better than KG, in that he is can score consistently with his back to the basket--or at least he did in the past.

Garnett's versatility gives us a chance to go big, too. KG can play the SF spot at times on the court and putting Wallace at PF doesn't give us a dropoff in talent or height...

What?

This has to be a joke right? Unless I just went back in time and it's 2003 all over again.

There was a brief period of time when Wallace was a better player than Garnett, and they competed for a long time with Portland primarily being successful against Minnesota so I can see how Rasheed thinks that..ever since then Rasheed has had a different role than KG

Nope. There wasn't. They both hit their prime at the same time and KG was better all along.
