If Ford is in the deal, so is a 3rd team. Ford would go there, not to Boston. The Pacers would be after financial relief and picks, Boston would be after a good 3/4 + Daniels, and the 3rd team would be after a good starting PG.
The Blazers or Kings might be interested in a deal like this. The Blazers want to upgrade PG from Blake, and the Kings have Evans (long-term), but might want an upgrade *this* year. Both the Blazers and Kings have redundancies at the big 3 / small 4 (Outlaw and Nocioni). The Blazers, especially, might be interested in Big Baby now that they missed out on Milsap. The Kings, supposedly, need to cut costs, so they might want to move a big contract for cap relief and get much less back...so I don't think they would want Ford's big (but short) contract.
I still think something like this is unlikely to happen, though. Although, Danny and Larry might be calling around to see what's possible.

The Rondo bullcrap was probably made up by an Indy fan or crazy Celtic fan on the board. There's no way I'd trade Rajon for Ford. I wouldn't mind trading him, but we would have to get something much better in return.

I do
