What am I missing? That Giddens is so great Danny doesn't want to lose him? Please, Giddens is replacable.
I don't think the issue has anything to do with Pruitt, Giddens, or Walker, the Pacers just have no need to take on TA or Scal. That is all that matters. I think IND was thinking all 3 of Pruitt, Giddens, Walker (which adds up to the same 2.5 mil TA is making) for Daniels and while it isn't outrageous I am sure Ainge doesn't see a need to do that and still have to pay Tony to be a 12th man.
I say do Pruitt, Giddens and Walker for Daniels and 2010 second round pick.
Indiana gets two young studs, no character issues once they decline Pruitt's option. Boston gets their man and keeps the expiring contracts of Allen and Scal to use in a deadline deal.
