Alternate Jersey

How would y'all feel about updating our Alternate jersey??? I've never been crazy about the green and black, and a new look would be fun. I much prefer the St. Paddys day jerseys to the black.

BTW, I am not in anyway insinuating that we should change the Home or Away jerseys, just the alternate.

Totally agree. Hate the black.

Maybe mess with the lettering a little. Like green letters and numbers with white outlines on the green jersey.

They should just dump the alternates and use the retro jersey more often.

Id be pissed. IMO it's the best Uniform in the NBA along w/Utah's Alternate Powder Blue

The green and black is awesome, what are you talking about. My Pierce jersey is the green/black.. can't wait to wear it to celebrate the beginning of the new season.

I totally agree with the OP that we should just make those the alternates and call it a day.

The black and green ones are pretty friggin bad, remind me of the Blue Jays hideous jerseys. I dont wanna limpwrist this thread too much but as far as color schemes go if blacks gonna be the main color you gotta contrast it with a lighter color (see: Bruins, Blazers, Raiders, White Sox, etc.)

and, yea I'm thoroughly embarrassed that I just wrote about color schemes on my own freewill on a friday night.

I hate the alternate jersey. The black numbers are so hard to see on TV. The St. Patty's jersey is awesome.

Agree. Black ones suck, the gold are better. I have a nice eltics tank top that I got at good will. It is green with a white stripe in the middle on the chest, maybe taking up a 1/4 of the jersey. Something like that could be cool. You don't see a lot of horizontal stripes.

I like both the alternate jerseys, but I agree that the St. Paddy's Green/Gold jerseys are better.
