Boston is up in the Dispersal Draft on the transactions games board, anyone want to make the pick? First in takes it.
- Here the situation. We contracted the league down to 24 teams (super deep 80's style). Char, Sac, LAC, Mem, NO, Minn got contracted. Their players were up for grabs in a dispersal draft.
Go to page 1, second post, to see the draft board and players already taken, then post a reply on the last page of who the C's should take. Many good players still available, take into account fit, salary and contract etc as your team would take that on (ie if you're the Bucks and not looking to be over the tax, don't take a 10 mil player).

Most of my picks were gone, would have grabbed Jason Thompson or Ty Evans in a heartbeat from Sacto.
But I went with the sentimental favorite: Ryan Gomes.

Got to agree here Dogen. That is why you would make a poor GM; you cannot let emotions get in the way of building a good team.

Ryan Gomes is undersized and not even that good, I wouldve went with Rudy Gay or Kevin Martin or maybe even Kevin Love

Re: OT- Anyone want to make a Pick for the C's
Hey, if I was a real GM, my first thought wouldn't have been: "OMG, is my binky still available!"
But since this was fantasy GM, I brought back the player who Ainge called "one of the finest people" he's been associated with in basketball.
Granted, one could argue that Love, Thorton, Flynn, Chandler, Gay, etc, etc, etc (my, the list does go on, doesn't it?) would fit our needs better, team-wise and talent-wise. But I stick with my pick, and would be very proud to see Gomes among those holding the finals trophy. I'm such a sentimental fool.

Re: OT- Anyone want to make a Pick for the C's
To be fair, Gay, Love, Martin had already been taken. Chandler would stand no chance of being drafted by the C's in their current cap environment. I may have gone with Thabeet, the two PG's in Charlotte, or Jonny Flynn, but, Gomes was not a terrible pick all things considered.
