Thinking Hinrich isn't a good player is unexplainable as far as I'm concerned. He's definitely a good player.

Wanting Battier over Hinrich right now is unexplainable too. We need a guy to back up Rondo/Ray, not Ray/Pierce (remember this Marquis Daniels guy who's probably on his way here). Preferably a guy who can shoot and run the entire offense. Hinrich fits that description.

You want a guy who just shot 41% fg, 38% three, 82% ft who's going to be fighting for minutes with Marquis Daniels instead of a guy who just shot 44% fg, 41% three, 79% ft who's going to be fighting for minutes with nobody?

The Bulls aren't going to be interested in any offer we give them unless it involves Ray.

A quick look at Battier and Hinrich.

Has a trade that a Celtics fan on Real GM proposed ever happened? Ever? And I don't mean something based on prior rumors. I mean a complete out of the blue trade proposal like this one right here (and all the ones CFan proposes). Ever?

I think Hinrich is a great fit for the Celtics, he is capable of starting and compliments Rondo well. If the belief is that Rondo will replace Ray's star power we could get by with Hinrich and Daniels on the wings as they compliment each other well.

Now CHI is very difficult to deal with and understanding their focus is difficult. With Deng back they are back in a situation were they are paying either Salmons or Hinrich starter money to come off the bench. Not a big deal for a season the issue is whether CHI would rather have Hinrich's money to go into FA with or keep him to build with. He is a good player but he is also making probably twice as much as he would get on the market right now.

No (if it ever did it'd be completely coincidental), which is why I think it's completely pointless, but some people like to spend their time doing it so I'm not going to antagonize them for it.
