How many games will KG play?

The discussion on KG's health is good but this thread is aimed at non-discussion.

How many games will KG play this year?

I'm going with 58 + playoffs.

Hopefully, 70-80 games.

I'm thinking 70 regular season + playoffs, but a career low in minutes. I expect he'll sit out some back-to-backs, and some rest at the end of the season. With Davis and Wallace around, there wouldn't seem to be a need to have his minutes very high without injuries to others. And with Davis and Williams, there are two young guys who we could expect to be healthy who can suck up the minutes in blow-outs. I'm seeing a lot of 24 minute games for him, and not many over 30.

This will be KG's healthiest year in Boston as he finally gets to play without the bone spurs and after lots of rest last season.

75 - 80 games, at least 2400 minutes played on the season, plus 38 minutes per in the playoffs.

I like Dave's answer. I'll make it contingent on minutes played. If he is seeing 30+ mpg, I'll go with 62. If he gets, as I am hoping, only 25 mpg, I could see 75.

I like Dave's answer a lot as well. Having KG ready for the playoffs is in the best interest of this team, so let's not run him into the ground during the season.

The question is, will Doc be willing to potentially sacrifice games late in the season to keep him rested? Or maybe a better question is, will it matter with the new and improved beef on the bench?

68 games regular season, every game postseason.
