The Nets comeback should be #2.

Nets/Celts should be 3 and the Bulls on shouldn't be on there IMO.

Nice article. It's interesting to me that the Celts have had so many great moments this decade considering all the less than impressive moments of the 90s. Personally, I, like SonicYouth, would rank the Nets game and the Bulls series higher on this list. IMO the Nets game was the greatest moment because it was so unexpected. Over the last 2 years the Celts have had the talent in place to be very successful. However, in 2002, it wasn't assumed that guys like Eric Williams, Tony Battie, Kenny Anderson and even Jim O'Brien would rise to the level of competition on such a big stage. The unexpectedness of that moment was truly special. Still, it's hard to argue against Game 6 vs. the Lakers as the greatest moment and Gino "the modern day victory cigar" is always a momentous occasion.

Not bad, but a few definite changes. 6, 7 and 9, SEE YA, you don't belong.

Replace with a good old fashioned beat-down of the 76er's at home in game 5 of a horrifically officiated series where Paul Pierce turns the lights out and drops 46, including 8 of 10 treys.

Replace with a turn-around game winning hook shot by Al Jefferson, possibly the brightest spot in one of the ugliest seasons in Boston Celtic history. These are the moments that keep the real fans glued to the screen every game no matter what, and they are worth remembering.

Finally, you could pick from 100's of happenings more exciting than a song that resonates just as much if not more with the Sox, Bruins or Pats than the Celts. Here's one - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TA0MzI-xw3c

Agreed. I can't even begin to describe how I felt watching that. One of the most memorable sports moments of my life.

That game was just insane. I remember rooting for New Jersey, but you gotta respect what the Celtics pulled off that night.

I remember going to that game and a couple people I was with said lets go and I said its not over til its over, I say that for every game though lol. Anyway I still get goosebumps thinking about that game to this game, winning the ring, the comeback LA, then either game 1 where Pierce came back or Nets comeback should be 3

also Gino should be a lot higher if theyre going to include shipping us to Boston, Gino felt like he was a player on the roster during that championship year that song is just a dime a dozen we hear at the game.

Btw I STILL CANT BELIEVE WE WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP A SEASON AGO :D
