Im pretty sure i read that Sheldons was guarenteed aswell... not sure where now though

Sweetney was signed so the Celtics would have another big guy who went through training camp in case Ainge is able to pull of a Tony Allen & Scalabrine trade inthe next few weeks (i.e. Daniels, Bell etc.). Sweetney is big man insurance and will take Scalabrine's place if Ainge is able to pull off a trade.


tony allen is supposedly injured. he is a walking corpse right now.

Ainge has a great track record with late draft picks. This reminds me of a Ryan Gomes/Leon Powe situation. Good signing. Can't wait to see what he brings to the Red Claws. Only in an extreme case like a Rondo injury will he play for the C's this year.
