Media Day: TA out, LH in, KG ok, RR bigger, Perk BB smaller

Usually Media Days just have optimistic cliched soundbites and not much else. (If you're unlucky you get bad news like Monta or Delonte.)

This time though Celtics Media Day was filled with real and mostly positive information:

* Lester could be a keeper. +
* No more point guard invitees. Hmm.
* Mike Sweetney did enough to warrant another look. +
* Rondo's dramatically muscled up. +
* Perkins has slimmed down. +
* Big Baby even moreso. +
* Garnett was ecstatic. +
* There was no mention of knee staples. +
* Tony Allen's dark cloud continues... -
* ...perhaps opening a door for Giddens or Walker. +
* Rondo and Lester have looked great on court. +
* Daniels and Rasheed are introduced and both are tall. +

That's a lot of news without even mentioning Ray Allen or Paul Pierce.

Add to this your other thread about Rondos improved jump shot... huge amount of good news coming through for the celtics

Our chances are looking pretty good right now. I got to think we will be the odds on favorites to win the east. As for Giddens and Walker - I think those doors closed with the Daniels signing.. One of the Giddens/Walker/TA trio might see some burn if we have some injury troubles.

Those pics are awesome! Big Baby looks to have lost a ton of weight which will only help his game even more.
