OT: West misses first day of training camp

I'm glad to see Lebron stepping up here publically.

I hated to see him traded. Maybe my family identified with him, because we have some manic issues. If he can get this under control, life can be good. He's got the cash and the career.

I just hope things work our for him, & Powe.

Cavs seem to have been offering him full support, I hope he takes advantage of it. This seems to be a situation spinning to a bad place, either Delonte or someone around him is likely to get hurt if this continues. Hope he gets the help he needs.

Still love Delonte. Hope he gets things together and does well. The obviouly not TOO well.

I was never a big Delonte fan even when he was here, but I feel bad for the guy. I just hope he can sort things out in his life and just play basketball. Enough of this driving around with guns and missing training camp crap.

I hope Delonte is OK and this doesn't end badly, but he needs help, clearly...perhaps the NBA isn't the best place for him with issues like these?
