KG Trying to be the Best Player in the League (as usual)

Post#1 » by stretch » Mon Oct 12, 2009 6:08 pm

From four days ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpcjKbrw4vY

Another peak into his mindset and determination. The usual... but it's still an awesome quote
"When I leave this game, I have to turn around with no regrets... that's why I go so hard. I'm trying to continue to be one of the best [players] in this league if not the best."

Those who have been following Ticket real closely are aware how he believes so strongly that he's the best player in the league. He doesn't usually come out and say it - but it's always revealed in those interviews and videos of him training (like when he runs on the beach).

And check out that turnaround shot KG does on Sheed in that video, with Sheed guarding him tightly. KG might be as good offensively as he's ever been in his career, especially if Doc gets him to post up specifically a few more times a night.
