Sounds like great news as I haven't got to see any of the preseason games yet due to blackouts. Still, I'm not going to get too optimistic as I could see DirectTV messing this up somehow.

Did anyone outside of Boston area catch any games on DTV last night or was it still blacked out?

I'm sure the phone calls that people said they made to DirectTV really was important. I also wrote the NBA and it was clear they had little care about their fans :

Thank you for your inquiry. Certain television providers may air select preseason games on NBA LEAGUE PASS. Please note that the package is a regular season subscription. To find out if select games are available to you, please refer to your channel guide or contact your television provider.

Thank you for your support of the NBA.

Sincerely,

NBA Fan Relations

I missed two of the first three games (I caught the Knicks game on MSG because I live in NY) so I'm glad this was resolved quickly. All of us out of market fans should be diligent and call next season BEFORE the preseason starts. We were all caught by surprise. I've had League Pass for 10 years and this was the first season it was an issue.

More good news from directv!!! this year its looking like directv cutomers may be getting dual feeds!!! which means that when directv has both teams feeds avaiable you can pick which teams feed you want, for example on last nights nets -celtics game the game was on 751 with nets announcers and 752 with celtics announcers in years past directv would usually only have the home team feed which would have meant getting the nets feed last night. now we should be able to get every celtic game with mike and tommy (or donnie)!!! they say over at dbstalk.com the first number you see in the guide is the away feed and the second number is the home teams ,so if recording the game check your guide closely if you want to watch mike and tommy announcing the game! better yey it may be easier to just record channel 630 or 630-1 for the HD feed as directv turns on that channel for the celtics games.

Had a wierd thing happen to my recorded game (Dierctv). I watched a few minutes of it and the recording was fine, switched to a live channel for a few minutes then I went back to the beginning of the recording to rewatch the start of the game and now the audio was removed. I have an HR23 receiver, anyone else ever experience this?

Raptor fan here............Just wondering if there will be a home TV broadcast for tonights game. In Ontario we can't get this game on TV, so I'm wondering if there will be a feed for tonight to find online. Trying to plan my night right now and this info would help me out, Thanks!
