Re: Hudson's Attitude
From what I understand Hudson was a good shooter in college.

Re: Hudson's Attitude
Hudson's shooting will be just fine. I don't think he's going to be a very high percentage shooter overall, but he'll be OK for a backup PG. During his college career Hudson was used to being the main go-to guy on the floor, thus he was always looking for his shot and had the green light. Now he's trying to think about distributing the ball first and then take the shot only at the end of the shot clock. His rhythm and instincts are not going to the same as when he was the star.
Having said that, I'm confident that Lester will start being more reliable with his shot once he gets a better internal understanding of his role and the plays that the team runs while he is on the floor. Thus far he's looked pretty good for an end of second round pick--- not just a keeper, but a guy who can get a few minutes a game right away. On Sunday Doc even put him in at the end of a quarter to run that play where there is 3 seconds left and the PG bolts up the floor and chucks a shot at the buzzer. The shot didn't go in, but it shows that Doc is looking at this guy as a certain type of weapon when needed. He has a combination of skills that fits the teams needs, so if he learns how to harness his ability I think we'll see him out there at times with House at SG and Daniels at SF.

I like him a lot better than Banks, Orien Greene, Tony as far as handle is concerned and I think he's better than Giddens who looks like a a bigger Orien Greene, a real loose cannon out there.
Giddens did make a couple of nice corner shots though

Re: Hudson's Attitude
Just watched the game from last night. Lester was looking AWESOME. He actually had more good passes than it seems from the box score. He set up quite a few good jump shots that missed. I wonder if they told him to stop taking the NBA 3-pointers, until he gets some more practice with them?

Hudson is less physically talented then I imagined but more cagey.. He has look like a vet out there..something Pruitt never managed.
