On our side if Lebron isn't his usual self you get what you saw tonight from CLE...he usually coasts in the preseason and starts slow the first few games of the regular season, which would be fine except we play you guys again next week
Anyways good game, your team looks real good.
It's nice to have civil dialogue with fans of other teams, even arch rivals. Most of the time people come over to say bad stuff and things just break down into mud slinging.
In regards to the game, there will be a totally different intensity next Tuesday. Whenever the Celtics are in Cleveland I would take a one point victory there and run, with next Tuesday being no exception. Cleveland has to be encouraged with the new dimension Shaq has added. This particular game did not show what Parker and Moon add to the team and that will remain to be seen. I would imagine that if Hickson continues to impress and if they feel nervous they may still take the plunge with Steven Jackson, giving up Z's contract. It appears that this will be a longer term fallback position for the team, but one that could be trouble for Cavs opponents. They are in a good position to wait on such a trade because non-contendors would never take on his contract and the rest of the contendors are set at that spot.
Celtics fans are pleased with the unprecendented depth that the Celtics now have. The questions will be about health and if there is any deterioration with age with the Big Three. Both teams are markedly better than the teams that met for the Eastern Conference Finals two years ago IMO so it should be a tough, competitive season.
