Who doesn't love Brandon Hunter? I'm still pissed the Bobcats took him in that expansion draft.

So long as I'm I get to talk smack with fellow Celtics fans, I'm happy. I've joined with greenbeans as "Rondo's Jumper"..

Sorry so late - especially considering I started this thread - just re-signed up my team for another go this season. Watch out I'm coming for that chip. Staying away from KG this year!

Maybe next year. Fortunately, I got the last spot on the other league.

Does anyone remember who was the one who made like a zillion waiver moves 2 or 3 years ago and made the league not so fun?

It was either enzino from italy or franchiscu (sp?) from portugal.

It was ridiculous, he'd make a few new pickups daily. The entire FA list was on waivers.

A couple of years ago the waivers were much more active than this past season. Two seasons in a row I've suffered through some pretty major injuries to star players, and I usually revamp my team quite a bit when I'm looking for that piece (or diamond in the rough) to hold things over until health comes around. Also, people stopped playing half-way through the season a couple of years ago which sort of sucked. Granted, they couldn't come back from a bad start, but it still throws things off when they don't even set their rosters.

Sorry if I took a spot from someone who was hoping to slide in, I would have responded/signed-up early but I was sick and then away from the computer for a few days. I guess it's a moot point now, but I would have been fine with 12 teams.

Good luck everyone, I hope there is some trash talking this time around, people have been too nice imo, lets have some competitive banter this season!

I ended up going to Boston today, so I set my rankings for the autodraft and it gave me 7 point guards.

WTB~

You missed a good draft. I feel bad for Sully though - because the two who didn't attend were wrapped right around him, so while he knew who was going - the next yahoo ranked player - he didn't have the full minute and a half before to help make his own choice.

This was actually the first time I was able to be there live; in years past I've always had to auto-rank. I got roped into an espn keeper league that my brother is in, so I actually attended TWO live drafts yesterday. What a difference the Yahoo one is with all those extra picks!

Don't worry about having a surplus of point guards, they are going to be in high demand, hopefully there is some wheeling and dealing this year!
