Until the details of the altercation are clear, it's a little early to start blaming Baby. I mean, unless you don't like the guy, then keep firing as usual. Don't let reality get in the way... If he was defending himself, it's just bad luck, nothing more.

This is obviously a big loss, especially if Baby's gone an extended period of time. It makes us vulnerable should Perk/KG/Wallace miss any time, or if we get in foul trouble. Any ideas of easing KG/'Sheed into the season are erased, and that's not good. Williams isn't terrible, but you don't want him playing more than 10 minutes a night, and he's pretty much a PF and that's all. All of a sudden, we have Perk and two older PFs (KG/'Sheed) who are better if they don't have to bang in the paint. Baby was the team banger, and now we have to lean on S. Williams instead...not good.

In terms of Baby, the down time could be very counter-productive. All that muscle he added and fat he dropped now has an extended period of time to revert to form, making him less effective when he comes back. His big fitness kick was centered on MMA-training--I'm not sure how the thumb injury affects that, but Baby's really really going to need to watch what he eats and be very diligent about his conditioning and rehab. If he isn't, he could easily piss away this season. Coming off his 'breakout' last season, you don't want to take a step backwards the next year...
The leaks are real...the news is fake.

I'm just here for the memes.

That's Karma for you, Big (Cry) Baby. Complaining is bad karma. :D

Injured in a fight? That is not acceptable I don`t care what the circumstances are! Just walk away...

Shelden will do just fine in place of Davis. He looked really good in the last preseason game...

BTW, if he is out for a month or two he will be out of shape when he comes back...Luckily he has weight clause in his contract but I still fear he will be as horrible as he was last year at the start of the season...

Well that's not always that easy. Baby claims he was protecting himself. Doubt we'll ever find out what really happened, but the team didn't need this right now. Hopefully Williams can step up.
