Is Mikki Moore still unsigned? Maybe we can find someone for a 10 day contract..

After the last preseason game I really don`t see much of a difference between Davis and Williams...Shelden will be alright, IMO...

Will Baby be payed during these 2 months? I doubt fighting is allowed...

I do wonder if any of that is true. Could be the C's have a Monta Ellis moment on their hands. We'll see if the truth ever does come out.

The C's can manage 6 to 8 weeks without BBD......no need to panic........

Since he got in a fight will he be suspended without pay? If so will he cry about it on TV? Its too bad Powe hurt himself because BBD is a buffoon. So much for the BBD is unstoppable in a fight thread(s) eh?

Shelden sucks. I hope he does a complete 180 degree turnaround from what I've seen.

Get Sweetney back!!!

just when you think Baby is growing up he goes and breaks his hand in a fight with his "buddy". Some friend he has there. If he were smart he would ship that POS back to Louisiana and never talk to him again. SUre it was an accident and we're talking about guys who are less than smart when it comes to managing their personal lives but come on. You have the season starting in a few days so why risk everything by getting in a fight even if it's just horsing around. Unlike a lot of the other posters, I'm not down on Shelden WIlliams - yet. I think he's a better position rebounder than baby and will give us good minutes while Glenn is out. I still wish we had leon but Leon is a time bomb and it is only a matter of time before he gets hurt again. I hate to say it but it's true. I also think if the Cavs rush him back too soon the chance of Leon getting hurt increases. I'm disappointed in Baby. He worked hard to lose wweight etc but this is stupid on his part.

Well this is why we signed Williams. There's really only enough minutes for Sheed, Perks, and KG, anyway. Even with Baby out, I don't think Williams will get more than 12mpg.

First of all, Baby *was* on track to get about 20 minutes a game. People always forget about foul trouble, or minor injuries, or suspensions.

Williams/Scal are probably on track to make up those minutes. This puts Scal back at 4, where he belongs. Williams, unfortunately, isn't much of a center, but that's where the role will be while Baby's out. Opportunity knocks for Williams, and with his decent 15 footer and decent rebounding skills, he should be alright for a couple months.

Opportunities, to a lesser extent, have also opened up for Giddens/Hudson, since Scal will no longer be at the 3. But, since Baby's biggest impact was in the scoring column, I expect Hudson to be the most able when it comes to filling that void. When TA/Walker get healthy, they too will could see more opportunity in the rotation...

I don't expect the Cs to make any roster moves initially. They'll see how the situation plays out and then possibly use TA/Scal/Giddens in January to bolster the lineup accordingly.
The leaks are real...the news is fake.

I'm just here for the memes.

Yeah I can also see Hudson getting some real game PT - maybe 5 minutes or so. Daniels will likely be getting all of Pierce's backup minutes, which might leave some time at the backup combo guard spot. Hudson should be ahead of Giddens.

I'm not down on Shelden yet either. At the very least, we will get to see if Shelden is worth keeping around, in case of another injury down the line in a more crucial point of the year. If not, I'm sure we'll do what's best for this team when the trade deadline approaches.

Sucks for BBD. Things happen. Let's move on. Time for Shelden Williams to step up.
