Agreed. Rondo had a good statline and played the passing lanes well and was rewarded, however, he has been reaching too much the past two games and the opposing PGs hav reaked havoc. Excuseable, in general, against Nash (though reaching in on him is an exercise in futility and just makes him more dangerous), but Alston was frequently blowing past him. I'm glad Doc sent a message. Your paychecks are coming every two weeks like clockwork, your attention to detail should be just as consistant. The defensive gambling was a point of emphasis in the offseason and it should be expected to improve.
He was being "picked off" and no one stopped progress long enough for Rondo to get back into the play. If he is being picked off, someone has to help out. The big men were slow and late to turn back, Rondo's man.
