Davis was working on his 3 pt shot this off season. Then we got Sheed and Davis was asked to play more inside. That's why Davis was upset because he wasn't told what his role was. They kept changing it. Davis vented in the papers about his role and his limited minutes.

And for those of you that think Davis won't help this team, you are going to be proven wrong. Our bench lacks offense right now. Wallace can't score if his 3 isn't falling, same for house. Scal isn't much of a scorer and neither is Williams. Daniels doesn't look to score much. Davis is an offensive player that can score from inside and out and he can also put the ball on the floor. Steve Smith from NBA TV also stated today that Davis will help when he comes back.

Davis can help us. I don't personally think the guy is that talented but at his peak in the playoffs last year he was bringing more then KG and R. Wallace gave us in that Knicks game. That's problematic though because much like as with Rondo and Perkins.. Those guys playing their best aren't superstars IMHO and you need stars to win it all.

This was debunked and you are choosing to ignore it. Powe played 7 mpg in the 2008 NBA Finals.
