Doc trust system / player minutes: Scal > Tony Allen > the kids

I can't stand Scal. At least Tony's faults are comical. Scal is a waste.

Ohh thank the lord. I was beginning to think I was the ONLY ONE that thought 'Veal' was a waste.

When we were losing, scal was a bench player and everyone hated him, and was the butt of every drunken fans joke. Now that we're winning, he suddenly becomes a fan favorite. I never got it. :dontknow:

He's only a fan favorite because we can afford to have a buffoon in there for periods of comic relief...he still **** sucks and the team will be immeasurably better once he's gone...

Common guys, we're 17-4 and KG is looking pretty darn good. Injuries happen and we're only paying him the LLE. (Maybe we know why he was so willing to accept the LLE.)

I have only two words to say about Tony Allen. Jiri Welsh.

No good can come out of bad mouthing a Celtic player. I personally believe on the right team TA could certainly be an NBA starter. Do you remember how he takes over a game defensively? Micheal Jordan had that kind of intensity.

The words "Tony Allen" and "intensity" should NEVER be spoken in the same sentence in regards to basketball...the guy is an idiot and a clown...I'd rather see 40 min of Scal than 10 of TA...

I can't tell if this is supposed to be serious or not.

Guy has MOSTLY played PF this year - where his PER is 3.4 and PER against is 22.1. Spare me on the "OMG his defense is great" stuff. That's just a rationalization so people can go easy on him.

As much as I didn't like BBD I am postively praying for him to get back so we can send Scal back to the deep bench where he belongs.

Of course, he is not a guy you want in there when the games are close. But for a few minutes if the matchups are in his favor he can help...As a 12-15 guy Scal is OK.

Seriously. I've seen bowling balls sharper than "F him up."

If you're looking for the player on this team most likely to foul someone taking a 3-point shot, or draw an offensive foul on a friggin' 3-on-1 fast break, he's your guy. I'm at a loss as to how people can badmouth Scal while boosting TA. Like it or not, Scal's the best guy we have on our roster to defend mobile PFs like Lamar Odom and Al Harrington. For all his limitations (and he realizes he has them, unlike Allen) he'll set picks, draw charges, stick an occasional 3, whatever. I used to be a big TA backer, but putting trust in him over the years as a basketball player yields the same result as Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown.

^well said...and off the top of my head I can recall TA doing EVERY ONE of those things in crucial moments (remember the game vs Detroit a couple years back?)

well poo (TA at point is insane, TA over house at the 2 is dumb, TA at the 3 is fireable)
Other weird facts(TA> GIDDENS) And yes Scal sucks but at least he is smarter and taller than TA.
So our bench goes down alot because daniels played 1 through 3.
Now we have to have longer minutes from starters and eddie will play more point than 2. So guess thats more TA at 2 and scal at the 3.
I say from our conservative coach that's what happens minutes of 1,2,3 go up by 5 to 7 and playing this rotation. It sucks but TA is better than giddens and doc won't play hudson house combo and walker is
red clawing it up. No trade is coming yet and big baby doesn't help here he can't play the 3.
