Glen “Big Baby’’ Davis had the soft cast removed from his right hand and did some light work Sunday . .

The Team is getting more relief with Tony close and Glen about ready...now with Daniel's wrist it's getting closer to a full team. :D

I say we trade him along with giddens and walker to Portland for juwan howard, jerryd bayless and nicolas batum. It works in the trade checker and they need a big who can play we throw in a 2nd rd pick and call it a day. Juwan comes in handy for spot minutes as a 3rd string big we solve our pg and sf problem and get younger. Portland isn't going to play them anyway they will play the baby. Juwan is expiring so.. come dec 17 see ya big baby.lol

I was thinking Shelden+Giddens for Bayless, but I like your trade idea. It depends if Pritchard thinks Baby could be the answer to their need, otherwise I don't see why he gives up a young asset like Bayless just cause the guy is making some noise right now.

I like Batum--- he could come in handy down the road as a guy who can hit the three and has athleticism. In the short-term, Bayless and TA are a pretty good addition to the House/Daniels bench and are both guys who like to push the ball.

My take on Bayless is that he's a guy who will eventually take off in the league, but the only problem is that he wouldn't see that many more minutes in Boston than he gets in Portland. At least not this year.

Why would Portland give up Batum for Davis? They already have a starting PF that's better in Aldridge and Batum would be their starting SF if he wasn't hurt. They are not going to give up a starter for a bench player. Plus they seem to like having a 3 point threat in their backup PF and they've been playing Outlaw as their reserve PF. They might pull the trigger on a trade for a better big but not at the expense of Batum. Blazers fans call him "the next Scottie Pippen."

Celtics forward Glen Davis did not give a solid date for his return to game action, only saying "soon" over and over when asked by reporters in the Celtics locker room moments ago. Davis was, however, working out on the court before tonight's game, and he wasn't just doing conditioning drills. The Celtics big man was shooting with his left hand, and he even took a couple of shots with his right hand. He's down to a smaller cast on his broken right thumb than the one he originally had after the injury. "I could probably make three of five shots with that hand," Davis said. "Probably not good enough for the game." Boston Globe

"The Bic Mac Attack will be back soon," said Davis. "Soon."

TA *does* suck hard...and for a guy who sucks even worse, Giddens sure does a lot of mugging and dancing on the bench...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Baby for Batum would be awesome for the long run, no offense to Baby. Its not happening though.

yeah I was stretching a bit but the real point is I want to trade all these players (TA, BABY,GIDDENS,SCAL)
I'd actually like to keep walker though so if those 4 or 5 could get us a servicable sf and pg then by all means do it.
Plus wasn't aware of portland loving batum over outlaw and webster still don't see it. I'd take any of the 3 though.
