Reality is lookin' pretty good.

Yeah, it's amazing sometimes how we are able to evaluate this team and honestly say, "Well, they're flawed and not playing their best ball." Yet, there it is, best record in the league at the moment.

I still contend that the team will make a slight adjustment before the deadline--- maybe just something as minor as bringing in Lue. But I do try to keep in mind that many of the proposed trade 'solutions' that come up may cause more damage than good. This team has an identity and confidence in one another on the court. It may not always look pretty, but they get the wins.

Good point Dogen. Everyone was quick to point out the flaws, specially after the Pacers game on a back to back night. I would always chime in and say how no one talked about the schedule and how the C's were playing a lot of games early on and how KG wasn't back yet.

So here it is, KG is not 100% back but he's getting pretty darn close AND the Celts have been able to get more rest between games.

My only pet peeve with the C's players is that sometimes they run their mouth a little too much. It's ok to run your mouth but also be a bit humble at times.

Kefa, right on, thanks for this thread. And as we have the last two years, we've had a brutal schedule already, lots of roadies and back-to-backs...must be nice to be the Lakers and open up your first 25 games with 4 roadies!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Funny how some of us were panicking when we lost like 3/4 games that one week.

Kefa, great thread. I love this board: whenever it's a rainy day, I'm sure some posters are like "OH NO THE SUN SUCKS TRADE IT IT'LL NEVER SHINE AGAIN." Bunch of chicken littles.

I can live with a 20-4 record that will only get better.

I think they've toned it down this year considerably. Really, the main culprit is KG, everyone else just gets a bad rep by association with him lol
