Marquis Daniels, who underwent surgery on December 9 to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, had the stitches removed and received a new cast on Friday. He will be re-evaluated on January 8. Daniels continues to follow the 6-8 week timetable set after his surgery on December 9.
Daniels hopes to travel with the team for their Christmas Day game in his hometown of Orlando and their upcoming West Coast road trip.
