Suns guard Steve Nash has moved into position that would have him start the All-Star Game in the latest fan voting returns that also have Amar'e Stoudemire expanding his lead on the Western Conference's starting center spot.
Nash had been trailing Houston's Tracy McGrady for the second West guard spot behind the Lakers' Kobe Bryant on the first count but passed McGrady in returns released by the NBA today. Nash is still in for a tight battle. His 546,064 votes is only 4,874 ahead of McGrady and 24,596 ahead of New Orleans' Chris Paul. Nash's only previous All-Star Game start was in the 2006 game.
ps.....the C's are getting a few more votes.....
