Why don't we sign Von Wafer?

He could play either the 2 or 3, and would fit in our system perfectly.

Rondo/T.Allen (why not?)
R.Allen/Wafer/House
Pierce/Wafer
Garnett/Davis
Perkins/Wallace

I think he failed his physical that he took for the grizzlies didnt he?

anyway i think he would be a good addition if we make a salary dump trade involving multiple players for us, but he isn't really a 3 and has trouble playing there, he is alright there in certain matchups though

the bigger problem we have is backup point

The Celtics have the max 15 players and Wyc Grousbeck has come out and said the Celtics will not cut anyone. Do the math. The only option left is trades.

Obviously Boston can cut someone they have a bunch of guys on expiring deals, that said it won't happen until after the trade deadline.

TA just totally slammed the breaks on any player acquisitions, for those of you not paying attention or blinded by pure hate.

8.8 ppg 4.2 rpg 2.3 apg shooting 49% from the field with a near 16 PER and a team leading 97 DRtg. He is no pg and either is anyone else on the bench but damn if he is going to keep playing like that we will figure it out.

The same kid who got kicked off the bench by Rick Adelman for insubordination, during a playoff a game? Thanks, but no thanks.

Tony Allen has been an A+ off the bench IMO. I'm not even a huge TA fan. The million dollar question is can you trust TA to play this way in the playoffs? I'm not willing to go that far yet.

Tony Allen has always played well with huge minutes (30-35 mins.) can he play the same way with 10-15 minutes?

Why would we sign another SG? That's the last position we need help at.

Ray / Daniels / House / Tony / Wafer

Really?
