Ray to Philly, Iguodala to Boston
Elton Brand to Sacramento
Nocioni to Boston, Udrih to Philly
Philly gets some cap relief, gets rid of Brand- Sacramento exchanges two bad contracts for one bad contract and takes a chance on Brand as a reclamation project (why has his reputation dropped so much, anyway?), we get younger and deeper on the wings.

Re: BOS/PHI/SAC Trade Idea
I think the 3 teams are perfect.. but i dont think anyone is going to bite on Brands deal..
In another thread i had
Boston: Ray out - Iggy and Kenny Thomas (expiring) In
Philly: Iguadala, Delambert out - Ray Allen in
Sacramento: Kenny Thomas out - delambert in
I think this way the celtics get what they want (a cheaper guy and an expiring), Philly gets to package andre with a bad contract, and sacramento turns an expiring into some front court help
dunno who does and doesnt bite on this one, but i think brand is going to be too hard to move at least for this and next season

Re: BOS/PHI/SAC Trade Idea
Brand and Iguodala have the same problem they were guys with big stats on bad teams the thinking being that if they got some help, each other, they would be winners instead they and their team are both worse. Even more ironically they bring back Iverson and he is better than both of them.
Both of these guys are very productive players if you run your offense for them and get them lots of touches and lots of shots and you will be lucky to win half your games. Now put them in a situation were you expect them to function in an offense and they look like Richard Jefferson does in San Antonio.
Anyway the guy SAC is interested in is Dalembert, athletic shot blocker/rebounder with some accidental offense with a much shorter, less expensive contract than Brand, nobody is going to take on that contract unless they get to move one out as well.
Why would Boston take on Nocioni's contract with Iguodala?

I have to agree with Sully, AI is fool's gold. I just don't see how he fits in with this team. He very well may be a better individual player than say, Kevin Martin. But I see Martin as a guy who can't carry a team, but would fit into a team like the C's. He has turned himself into a good spot up shooter, so can play off the ball. Whereas AI leads a bad team to the 8th seed, but doesn't fit in a team that he isn't featured. He is like a rich man's Tony Allen.

Re: BOS/PHI/SAC Trade Idea
They said the same things about the 3 guys we have now (cant lead a good team)
He has the ability to contribute without scoring too, which is something ray, martin and ellis dont really bring a whole lot of

Yeah, but those 3 guys have 30 All Star games and had advanced into the playoffs at least once. AI has never been to an All Star game, has been on 1 team that was over .500 and has never been on a team that won more than 2 playoff games.
I just don't think he is as good as any of our 3, or even close, quite honestly. I think if he was on Utah, he'd put up similar numbers to Ronnie Brewer. I think Wilson Chandler will be at AI's level in a couple seasons. Guys like Stephen Jackson, Caron Butler and Gerald Wallace make 7-9 million. There is no reason to tie yourself to AI for 65 million for 5 years.
