Sheed in the post!

Post#1 » by klemen4 » Thu Feb 11, 2010 9:10 pm

Man it was a pleasure yesterday how the 2 unit played feeding Sheed in the post with Daniels being pg. They really played smart ball and outscores CHA reserves in second quarter by 10 and in 3/4 quarter as well.

Rasheed in the post is, despite his age, still one of the best in NBA and Im very optimistic about our second unit now that Daniels is back. I think going into the playoff we need just one good 3pt shooting sf/pf and we could go 9 man deep

pg:Daniels
sg: House
sf/pf: Nocioni???
C: Wallace

This lineup is almost perfect, only week point being House play on defense against opposing pg, but still I think he can and will win game or two in playoffs with his shooting.

It is so easy well you play smart:
- Sheed in the post,
- Daniels going to the rim, posting up
- House coming of screens
Now we just need that sf/pf to spread the floor and be 3pt threat all the time. Wanna double team Rasheed, bang, ball goes to 3pt line, easy shoot. If we play that way Im optimistic our bench will outscore opposing benches in playoff.

Now the question is...will starting 5 be up to the task?

It's funny...before Quisy came back, our MAJOR problem was the bench. He has fixed the bench, and now our starting 5 holds the majority of our problems..hopefully once P shakes off the rust from his injury, he fixes our starting unit.
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!
