Trade for Bogut!

Bogut and Horford in the front court will work wonders for this awesome team.

This is my first post... I wasn't happy with our first round picks, aside from Zizic, but loved Jackson in the second. Now we'll have someone to bring up the ball when IT is resting. The fact that we got Al and got close on KD is great. We need to be a good as we can next year so that the pick we swap with Brooklyn doesn't help them in 18. Danny, Like Bill B, isn't perfect. I wish Bill would hire someone else to help draft guys in the 2nd round, I wish Danny would hire someone else to help draft guys in the first round. Danny also needs to stop leaking the trades that don't get made. Other than that, he's done well. I think the Celts and Nets should be fun to watch again this year. Slow build works fine for me.

Pau Gasol. I keep saying it: Pau Gasol. Perfect fit for Stevens offense, lets Horford play pf when they are both in the game. Za Za is also an option, but Pau is so much more skilled.

Please no more Jimmy Butler talk. Why draft Jaylen Brown and then trade for Butler?

I like the idea of getting Gasol... Im just not sure DA will go that way. Middleton/monroe is interesting especially if Horford can cover up Monroe on d.

We watch a playoff team (we will win about the same amount as last year, maybe 2 or 3 more games) grow a little, and see what our younger guys can do. We have a really young roster outside of IT, Amir, etc, Lets see what brown and all those recent picks can do. We are not as good as Cleavland, so barring an injury we are not winning the east, and if GS sorts out its center issues, no team has ever been as good as them (they are improving a 73 win team!) so lets make ourselves better for 2-3 years from now when a window might open....the whole durant thing might fizzle after a year or two, and Durant and Curry both have injury histories so lets enjoy a good young team getting better knowing that we have another top 6 or better pick comming this year (NJ has done nothing to help themselves win more). Reality is reality and in a 7 game series there is no 1 player we could add to be as good as a healthy GS, but maybe curry, lebron and durant all collide in the all star game and opens things up for everyone else, but the nba has never had less parity then after this deal there are exactly 2 teams who could win the tittle this year barring injury, and that's how it is.

Even worth leaving that extra max spot for 2017? Durant probably off the table, Griffin, Westbrook, and CP3. Think Stockton is the only short pg to age well and Blake and Westbrook are heavily reliant on athleticism. Any upgrades worth paying, though? Ezeli? Guys locked in that are already under contract? I don't know.

I am not ready to give GS multiple titles. Teams need to (a) stay healthy; and (b) have good role players - guys who do the dirty work. Neither of things are certain.

However, I'd be careful to overpay for free agents at this point. Develop Brown, Yabusele, Rozier, Young, Mickey, etc. We've got to find a diamond or two in this group. Only way to do that is to give them NBA minutes.

I'd rather play wait and see with our picks and FA next year than signing a classic big. We're not playing to what makes Horford unique by doing the latter.

Yeah and CP3 and Russ can't really play with IT so it diminishes part of our FA appeal.

The only real value left in this year's class is Boban.

Terrance Jones I still like.

Keep BKN picks.

Play younger guys a lil more.

See if opportunity strikes at deadline.

Maintain cap for next year if possible.

Don't blow the cap on overpriced role players. Keep some nice cap space open for next year. Win some games. Target Westbrook in the next off season. Cross our fingers we have better luck in the 2017 lottery which is projected to be much stronger than this one.

The best times the Cavs scored was when Bogut was on the floor. No thanks.

Resign Amir and do work

I am clearly a homer, but I still think we could make the Easter Conference finals. The defense of our guards make us a great match up against Cleveland/Toronto. Once you get to the finals anything can happen

Injuries happen every year in this league, nothing is guaranteed

Then he goes to the Lakers next year and the Celtics wasted all those assets.

Sign Gasol and we can have a very interesting season. There's a big shoe to drop for the deadline this time, beef the f*ck out of the frontcourt, run this thing for a few months and target the area needed (shooting/wing help most likely). It's not really possible to address everything this offseason. Durant was the only shot at that.

Westbrook is a Laker in 2017. Book it Dano. You can take the player out of Long Beach, but you can't take the Long Beach out of the player.

Westbrook to the Lakers is about as secretive as Durant to the Warriors was.

IT / Bradley / Crowder / Johnson / Horford is a really nice starting lineup...good mix of skills and balanced. getting pretty excited about this....
Smart /Brown / Olynyk / Rozier / Mickey is a nice bench as well....maybe Jerekbo too?
plus other rookies...Jackson, Bentil..who knows...
I like the idea of bringing Zizic over this year...not sure what is up there.
