He's been the most spoiled superstar, EVER. Literally.

YEah and people call him the goat because he plays with the best talent constantly yet still only has half as many rings as Jordan...

Eh I don't know about that. He requested a trade, not demanded. It may be semantics but it feels different to me. Unless he is 100% dead set on LA (which that news has not come out), then it gives us enough time to put Kyrie in his ear to just wait until the season is over.

It’s illegal/fine-able to demand a trade. It is not illegal to request a trade.

Jimmy Butler requested a trade too, FWIW— it all means the same thing.

I get your point but a trade took awhile to materialize there, too. Also AD doesn't seem like the guy to be a disruptive as Jimmy was when that all went down.

We go all in- Kyrie/Brown/picks for Daivs...   Honestly thinking about it, there's no way this can happen, I mean Kyrie will tell em he wont resign there. Atm, we just CAN'T trade for Davis.

He's a lock to go to LA. The timing is the key. If Davis wanted to be a Celtic he'd wait till the off season. Rich Paul knows Boston cant make a play and wants to give his client LeBron the best opportunity to trade for AD.

I love the Celts but the league itself has turned into a joke. Between things like this, the way the game is officiated, style of play and 1/4 of the teams tanking I get why ratings are down. I I don’t know one person I’d classify as an NBA fan. Celtics, Knicks and even a couple Nets fans but not one person who says something like “gotta tune into that Rockets game tonight. Harden’s going off lately.”

There’s more parity than ever, but most years you have one heavy favorite for the championship and another clear runner-up in the other conference and the odds one of them doesn’t win are very very low. Golden State in the west, Cleveland and Miami, the Spurs and the Lakers before that..

I heard someone on the radio this morning claim with a straight face (voice?) that the Lakers had the most to offer NO. He then proposed Ingram, Ball, and a pick...and I almost drove off the **** road laughing my ass off.
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

I hate the dude but he’s smart as hell when it comes to manipulating things for his own advantage.

Brandon Ingram still being quite bad is huge. The big concern here is demps, who has a history of making short term fixes with a questionable future outlook and how that relates to our offers.

Or maybe front offices need to stop being garbage. AD gave Pels plenty of time, 7 years. 6ers, Bucks, etc. became top teams in that time. There’s no excuse for pelicans

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

Totally. Obviously, they know we can't trade for him unless it's Kyrie. And the Pels wont accept it, cause Kyrie will bolt. So yea Rich the prick Paul has put is in this position, although Davis wants to be there, too I guess, cause he's on board with being traded now.

Absolutely. Boston has everything over LA from an easier path to the finals to more talent and more picks. By declaring the intention to bolt now Rich Paul and AD have admitted its LA or bust. Should have traded for Kwahi...

Would you guys trade Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, and the Clippers, Grizz, and Kings picks for Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, and the Lakers 1st round picks in 2020 and 2022?
