I think it's perfectly reasonable to be negative in situations that call for it (such as, you know, blowing a 28 point lead at home to a blown up team). That doesn't make you any more or less of a fan than anyone else.

They have been **** the bed for like 60 games..and I'm still picking them to be in the finals. How is that me being positive until they **** the bed? I'm way past that.

Point to me where I said I'm more or less of a fan? Because it simply was never said. You can be a sissy, whiny fan and still be a great fan in your own way. Ghost of JB is probably the poster who writes the **** I hate the most and I know for a fact the dude is as invested as anybody in here. He's been around since the KG days.

Because during GTs where they **** the bed, you're in there talking about "blow up the team" and **** on the players/coaches. Again, I see no problem with this. But it's kinda hypocritical to call anyone else "sissies, crybabies, whiny, etc" when you're there whining with them.

It's one game thread. We are talking about an INDIVIDUAL game and venting. It's not really my opinion on the team or the year or the season. My post was directed at dudes who already quit on thr season. Who predict loses before the game even started. Dudes who think we have no talent. Dudes who see Kuzma put up 25 on 21 shots and say he's better than Tatum who put up 21 on 14. Dudes who come in here after 10 wins and say Toronto is better when we lose one game. You get me? Maybe you're offended cuz you fit the bill? Idk. But like I said, my opinion of the team is finals and right up there with Philly for most talented team in the East. I will criticize individual performances when I need to though if that's cool. But when it's kill or be killed time I'm picking green.

If giving up on the season means I don't think they win the title? Sure, I fit the bill. And I don't care at all about anything less than a title. I think we have an outside chance at the Finals at best. That isn't "whining and crying", that's being realistic about the team. Whining in crying is what you do in GTs.

Hardly. Like I said I criticize yeah..the Lakers game was important to me so I might have gone a bit extra on that one..but to not put me on the positive group for a few things on GT's and comparing me to dudes pushing this BS negative **** on every thread?? No way. Defo one of the most positive dudes on here.

You don't have to defend yourself either. You were not who I was thinking of when I made the original post. Sorry you felt you had to come at me though.

Smart move by Kyrie, he knows Celtics will lose for sure, he can increase his value by saying the Cs can’t even beat the 76ers because he’s out. Smart move for someone who thinks the earth is flat.

Kyrie sitting out so Danny can feature Rozier in time for the trade deadline. He's not really hurt.

I just hope we put a good fight. Not confident on our chances, especially on the road without irving. If we’re not blown out by halftime, and we keep it close, who knows.

Eh dude, save the smack talk for when you're facing the Raptors or Bucks.

If you read the thread no one here is flexing. Well at least 90% of them are realistic about both rosters.

Hah we just passed the trade deadline. Featuring Terry in time for the buyout deadline?

I fully expect it.

Tonight the young guys will be out to prove they’re in it to win it and the team will play better after having aired out their grievances for the 10th time this season.

Sixers got too much fire power now. But we will see. Especially Celtics on the road and having blown 2 big leads? Anything can happen but not likely.

Tbh this team probably has a better chance of winning this game without Kyrie, gaining that chip on their shoulder that comes with no one expecting much out of you on the road without your star.

It's a big game to kick off a really tough stretch, hope they play like it.

Seems like the forum's melted down the past two games since I left to study for midterms :dontknow:

Never fear though, I have an odd feeling we'll win this game somehow

Philly is hardly some juggernaut world beater LMAO Tobias was a HUGE get they do scare me more .. but butler is still a toxic choad, Simmons' game doesn't translate against us, Embiid never really gets going either ... Redick is usually the one that kills us

I fully expect to see a great performance tonight with GH progressing ..

Has everyone forgotten that we won 10/11 before the last 2 horrific losses, &in both horrific losses we were up 18 &28 respectively ??!

I had to stay on the sidelines for a couple of days after that mess Saturday night. We hosted a party Saturday so I taped the game with plans on watching it later. I go to ridiculous extremes to ensure that I don't hear anything about the game so it feels live when I start watching it. Fortunately, when I sat down at 11:30 to watch, the post game was on so I inadvertently saw the final score. Thank God!! I would have been suicidal if I had to sit through that. I'll be watching live tonight, I don't think I'll be able to handle the drama. That being said, for some odd reason, I'm sensing a win!! Keep the faith my Celtic's brethren!

Celtics by 20, **** it. Tatum will put up 30/12/6, Smart will eat Ben Simmons soul, and Embiid will still be saying it's too one sided to be a rivalry postgame.

Tonight will tell us everything we need to know about this team, and how they'll play/act for the rest of the season.

Return to Boston Celtics
