Morris wants to return, Rozier is gone, we are still all in on AD regardless of Kyrie.

Bye Rozier.

Could also mean he’s coming back, or likely coming back, but they don’t want to tip their hand..

Makes sense...only one ball to go around---AD would get stuck with only 10 shots a game, with Kyrie here....PGs are plentiful these days---doubt Wyc and co. wanna pay Kyrie $40+ Million anyway.

If we can keep Brown or Smart then I'm good with going after AD. A vet PG, Brown, Hayward, AD and Horford is a tough lineup. Morris on bench with Baynes. Need a wing and backup PG and I can see a decent team that matches up well with Sixers and can play with Bucks. Lot of length

Great news, if AD is traded here, Kyrie probably resigns as well.

Curious if “all in” means both Jays

I think Kyrie would like "Smarty" to stick around going forward. Should help make his decision easier if all the "Young guys" are traded away!

Nothing hurt worse than Jeff Green coming out of his season long coma for game 7 last year! :banghead:

Yeah, better not. It isn’t tue Celtics job, nor any other team to get NO in a better position now and for the future. Business 101. Always attack from a position of strength and NO has none. They have a player that wants out. Period. In every single other trade in every sport, and every player, once it is known they want out it is feeding time. Low ball time. AD isn’t any different. Look what the Nets did when they were desperate. AD leaves in a year, or worse gets hurt, oh boy. I just can’t see Danny doing that. No team should in fact.

Well, they do. There are at least 3 other teams (LAL, LAC, NYK) that would really like to get him, and all 3 will go in thinking they can retain his services beyond next season. So Danny isn't bidding against himself here - he will need to beat 3 very serious offers.

I know you will just say, "then he shouldn't trade for him'", but like it or not, it looks like he's going to try.

Gotta say: Morris made me do a 180 on him since last May. Couldn't stand him up until last year's ECF when I started to change my opinion on him. He then completely won me over this season.

He gave his heart and soul to this team over the last two years and I'll always appreciate that.

That being said, I just can't see us paying up to keep him. Hope I'm wrong, though.
