He is my favorite player currently Tatum my 2nd favorite. I fell like brown can be in the Glenn Rice arena when all said and done.
Brown's #1 fan on this forum.

We need a "there's enough sample" thread so Jaylen will make a major leap in time for the playoffs.

Read on Twitter

Two things:
1. He's been efficient af. From all over the floor.
2. He doesn't pass it back too often once he catches that ball. He will attack and look for his shot. He has a scorer's mentality.

Lately, he's been looking to score almost every time he touches the ball. Doesn't necessarily force it if it isn't there, but he is looking to score before he regroups and passes the ball.

December - .678 TS%, 22.9 pts, 6.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists per game.

February - .556 TS%, 21.8 pts, 5.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists per game.

Peak Paul George ceiling

Sixers Jimmy Butler floor

If he can turn into a great 3 point shooter he can easily reach Paul George level.

At this point Brown is an integral member of this team.
He's the 3rd Scorer.

I’ve been thinking about Jaylen potential lately & Considering theirs nothing else to talk about I thought I’d reopen then topic now that we’re a month removed from when the season suspended.
Have people changed their mind from before ?
Would you still trade him for KAT even with how valuable Theis has been for us ?
Would you trade him for Mitchell if given the chance ?
Can he be a second scoring option behind Tatum on a championship caliber team ?
Discuss.

I would trade him for KAT. Theis is nice, but let's be real...

Not for a chucker like Mitchell, though.

Brown is our 3rd Scorer, and a pretty good two-way player.
For Karl-Anthony Towns, definitely. But other than that, I'd prefer to just keep him.

Team Shamrock in general, are all a pretty solid Squad.
It would take a significant situation, to trade any of them.

Pretty much this. People swore last year that he wouldn't get any better than what he was and then this year happened. He's 23. I don't think he's finished improving his skills. He's definitely not finished improving his mental approach to the game. That's the kind of thing that comes with more time in one system and the maturity when your peak skills meets your experience in the league. Brown isn't untradeable by any stretch but the list of guys I'd move him for is pretty short.

Absolutely trade him for KAT-to say you wouldn’t bc of theis is laughable
Don’t think Mitchell and Tatum would play well together as Mitchell shoots a lot would be similar to kyrie and Tatum to me so for this team Mitchell wouldn’t work but I value Mitchell over brown career wise.

Still think he’s best as a 3rd option. When Tatum was dominating as the number 1, kemba was 2 and Hayward could have had an argument for 3.

Browns had a really good year to his credit still doesn’t change my overall opinion much.

Agreed. I think Brown is situated perfectly where he is. #3 Usage guy behind Tatum and Walker. Somebody has to be that guy and Brown is good at it. That's not even a knock on him. Is it possible that he could ascend to #2 level scoring guy by the end of Walker's contract. Absolutely. Either way, he's fine. Glad to have him here.

Brown's ceiling is to much more consistently be what is now the very best version of himself. (I don't think he has the talent to be as absurdly good at gaining and using separation as Tatum or Kemba or to be an elite creative passer ... but I also think his limitations don't go much further than those.)

That could make him as effective as this version of Paul George:
