We showed in the first three quarters we can beat them. But obviously we have to execute the entire game. One of 7. Still 6 more games to get 4 wins in.

Theis was solid as hell. When he fouled out in overtime I felt this sinking feeling it was over. And it was.

We have talked this playoffs on whether Kemba's injury is affecting him. He definitely was not playing like himself. Not gonna write his obituary over one game. But he has been struggling and we may need to adjust accordingly. Having Hayward's ball handling skills would've been nice about now. But no use whining over that.

The refs weren't our friends. But neither was shot selection. Look for the open man. Play Herro ball rather than Hero ball.

Careful on the double team. Miami is too good on the three. The dagger in our heart in OT was when Tatum went to Butler and left Crowder undefended.

Burn the tape and do better next game. No melodrama. We'd all love to sweep but knew we'd have to work hard to move on. Still have faith we can make the necessary adjustments.

I know someone already said something similar, but we have one max free agent not playing and another being a net negative on the court of a conference finals.
I am not beating up on Hayward for potentially leaving. I’m gonna question what the hell he is doing here now. You’re not 100% I get it but if you’re able to warm up you can give it a go. 10 min a game would help. If that’s impossible then go home

It makes me feel better if I picture Tatum wearing a Duke jersey when he got stuffed

We got to pass the ball more and trust our teammates and way too awful on defense late.

For me this whole series comes down to Kemba (disregarding Hayward). If this is as good as he's gonna be we won't win. If he is all-star Kemba I don't think Miami has enough firepower to overcome it. But I am also of the opinion he is physically compromised and they just don't want to say it.

I like the kids game but with his knee appearing to be more and more problematic, looks like we bought a lemon.

Our inability to close out games has been an issue all season long and is looking worse in the playoffs.

What's worse, we gave up 46 points in 17 minutes.

He was settling for some dumb shots, bet he comes out pissed off Thursday.

I really don't mind his stepback threes. But he was taking them a foot or more farther than usual. His shots ended up short on most of them.

I mind a step back three to end the game, because when you let time run down eventually the defender realizes you dont have time for anything else BUT the stepback which makes it a lot easier to overplay.

This team has lost almost every single close game it's played so far and most of them we beat ourselves with dumb, dumb decisions.

What was the free throw difference in the 4th though? Laughable.

Btw Jaylen Brown would be a superstar with Spo. Dude is criminally under used by this soft ass coach.

Doris seemed to say that we had one of the best records in close games in the postseason. That surprised me.

We are making the same mistakes we made with raptors. We go for a big lead, Brad stevens makes changes to the rotation, we start effinnnn up on turnovers... why can’t we hold a solid lead and keep efffffffin scoring .

Why do people keep saying the Celtics have the better team? That's simply not true. The Heat have the better coach and the best player...not to mention vastly better role players.

If Hayward doesnt come back then he absolutely needs to be traded.

Tatum was gassed. Probably didn’t get enough sleep playing with Deuce!

I’ve long felt that Stevens is at his best with a group of gritty underdogs. Give him real talent and he doesn’t know quite how to put the pieces together. We literally had a play in the fourth at the end where Kemba dribbled the ball and jacked a brick. No one else even touched the ball. It’s weird.

I prefer Brad's ATOs over isos any day. Even created a poll about that when Kyrie was here. Board was divided. But give me the timeout and call a low-clock quick-hitter.

Not sure about complaining about 24% Butler shooting a three.. And Herro also hit a Ridiculous pump fake three with someone all over him.. They made the big plays Celtics didn't when it mattered most.

We're a better team than this defensively... I'm not a fan of iso ball with this roster; it plays better with the b-ball moving and players cutting.

But we scored enough points to win, regardless. It was the lack of key stops that really stuck us tonight. Jae Crowder's WIDE open three really killed me on that play.
