Wiggins has 3/90+ left. He’s super negative value

Yeah but it's still the #2 pick vs. #14. Huge difference

You underestimate how bad Wiggins actually is. That contract is a nightmare

In most drafts? Yes. In this draft? Nah.

GS is all about winning now though. Hayward, a solid role player at 14, AND dumping Wiggins horrid contract is probably pretty enticing to them. They probably just want a future first or something as well.

And yet it'll only be 2 years at 60 in 7 short months.

It's worth it.

Yeah Toronto blowing it up is a real possibility if he signs the supermax with MIL

I've always said they are losing FVV, Gasol and Serge this offseason and their best player is a year older and reaching that 35 and above soon to be cliff.

They don't have any pieces i'd try to get that are worth it after that. The two young guys would be smart to keep for the Raptors and Lowry doesn't fit our timeline. I know Kemba for Lowry swap might make us better this year. But that's about it.

You can get a Marcus Smart type bench player in other ways. You don’t give up a top 3 pick for hustle defenders off the bench.

It can be a little more nuanced than that. Lets say Ainge can get from 14 to 8. In this draft that is much more likely than usual because teams draft boards are so radically different. Smart and 8 can get you to 3 maybe using 26 and 30 along the way. NOT saying I want to do this just saying it can get done when you have 3 first round draft picks and probably willing to kick in a future one at this point.

I think as fans, we are wayyyyy above our heads in terms of Smarts value. Smart, to me, Is in the category of Bledsoe and Beverly. But maybe that’s just me. Lol. I see no way Warriors even entertain such an idea.

Sounds like Houston wants a top 3 pick for Harden and Ainge is getting to work.

Why wouldn’t Golden State just trade for Harden? I think that would be better for them.

It's really hard for me to view a guy who changes the game the way he does through the lens of a role player.

I'm not so sure it would work and it may hurt his development but a rotation with Tatum and Harden would be pretty absurd.

i mean, he's carris levert making 10m a year more.

If only his 3% was 35 or higher, it's around that 32-33 mark. That would have to go up on the celtics.

He's the opposite of a play maker, he doesn't know the team game of basketball and can be taken away with double teams and zone defenses. But we could make it work.

The easy answer is houston wants him out of the conference. The real answer is who the hell knows.

Absolutely. This isn't the worst case scenario if danny already knows he can't get giannis or harden or even towns.

I'm not buying Warriors using #2 to basically dump Wiggins.

Waiting for the next tweet about Danny Ainge talking to the Green Bay Packers about a possible trade for Aaron Rodgers.

Rumor season, got to love it!
