This core has made the same mistakes for seven years now.

You people need to relax. This is the NBA. Any team can lose a game when the other team shoots very well from 3. It’s a seven game series. There will be plenty of ups and downs throughout the series. This one is far from decided. But the Celtics coaching is truly meh and has been all season. Coaching does win and lose you close games.

Tatum and Brown playing hot potato on the worst play ever seen in professional sports with the game on the line is really upsetting.

He's consistently targeted on switches late in games, by both Atlanta and now Philly. He makes good plays against role players, but usually gets torched by stars who specifically target him.

Well they're stuck with him for the next two or three seasons. This team isn't good enough to win the championship with this defense either.

Like I always keep saying having Brown as a second option isn't going to win Boston a title. He plays too selfishly, he's a turnover machine and has a low basketball IQ

I have never seen a "superstar" miss as much around the basket as Tatum. A lot of times he doesn't even catch the rim. So freaking pissed they blew this one.

Jaylen brown classic turnover performance. How many times is he gonna get stuck in the air not knowing to do or dribble into traffic leading to points for the other team? And where were you most of this game after that first quarter? Flexing off a wide open dunk but then disappear

Brogdon starts off hot but when it comes to winning time he **** chokes in the clutch even when completely open.

White has been ass the past several games. When he loses confidence his whole game is thrown off.

Hauser and Grant just check in to the game to get eaten alive off switches.

Tatum was hot all game but then slows the game down late, gets nervous, gets very indecisive on what to do late, doesn’t have a go to move and then comes up empty when stars take over late. Tatum needs to **** take the challenge and stop being so shook.

Marcus smart you just can never trust him with the ball. Big critical turnovers are bound to happen which is gonna sink this team. Always been the case. However the bigger concern is his defense has nosedived, he can’t get a single stop. Like Horford smart is washed defensively. He’s not that guy anymore.

Coach. Where do I start? No adjustments, no set plays out of timeouts, doesn’t call timeouts, rides Horford when he’s struggling, rides White when he’s struggling, still doing the stupid ass drop coverage when clearly that hasn’t worked all game. One of the worst coaches in the league.

You look at the playoff bracket and not a bigger gift has been given to the Celtics but I don’t see this team taking advantage because like the finals against the warriors, this team has been shook in closing games. They are mentally weak and have played soft basketball

Tatum being invisible and just 1/4 in the 4th definitely contributed to our loss.

The reason they lost lies in the last 4 guys in the list of 9 above. That's where the loss rests. They lost it before the last few minutes, but then during the last few minutes they couldn't hold onto the ball and they couldn't make enough shots (that a Championship worthy team should be able to execute).

You don't win in the NBA PLAYOFFS if only 5 guys play well. And only 5 Celtics played well tonight.

You Usually Need at least 6 guys to play well.

Hey Jammer take your stupid + and - stats and shove it! We all watched the game , our studs choked in the end and disappeared. Brogdan was garbage in the end. Smart was one of the few positives in the fourth fighting for every play!

This is what happens when you play drop against elite pull-up shooters. They get into a rhythm early and it's lights out from that point on. There was not a single doubt in my mind that he was gonna hit that go-ahead three.

Yes because they will rest Embiid. Then Embiid returns and closes it out. Atlanta was also a bad series. This team has lost it at the wrong time. Also the coaching in critical moments is subpar.

The assumption that Embiid will come back 100% healthy and rested is just false.

What also isn’t getting factored in that theory, is that he isn’t running. At all.

He allows like 90 points a game to the hawks and Sixers. All of it is not his fault obviously because of Mazzulla’s stupid ass drop coverage but he’s by far been the worst defender when he gets switched to the opposing team’s best player. He’s way too slow

For everyone calling for Brogdon to end games instead of Smart, this is not a game to support your case.

I thought from around the first timeout of the match until the last of the first half we played decent defense and they were just hot. During that period we were around plus 17. Outside of that period it was not good enough.

Our execution down the stretch was once again bad and Joe is showing his experience.

White and Rob needs to lift for the remainder of the series.

Brogdon had 1 turnover the entire game. Marcus had 6 including the most critical one at the end when we HAD to score. White and Brogdon need to finish games on the offensive end. Sub one of them for Smart on the other side. White and Brogdon have a much higher success rate at finishing and converting any offensive play over Smart.
